Hey! So nice to speak with you! Can you tell our readers a little bit more about yourself? Where are you originally from and where do you live now?

I’m Collette Dunhill- professional HMUA, Fashion Stylist and founder of Fashion Monkeys LLC, who has worked in this field for more than 18 years. I was born and grew up in Lithuania, a country where the woods are still thick and autumn smells like the forest. Now I live in New York and I am still in love with this town…..I feel like this is my city where I like to create and live.

What's one thing you love about the place you live now?

I live in a very beautiful place: Brooklyn Dumbo…. Here is not only the most beautiful views to Manhattan, but also every street, house and tree has its own story. So next to me there is a small grocery store where a cat lives. He greets and escorts all customers and that is so sweet ❤️

Tell us a little bit more about what your company does and how it started. How does it help your customers?

I have been in the Fashion world for a long time… I think I started when I learned to hold colored pencils😂 From the beginning…. The walls suffered 😂….. later I decorated dolls, and when my sister's daughter was born, I sewed a mini skirt for her 😂😂😂 Later I became a Professional working as a stylist and HMUA for fashion magazines, designers, fashion weeks…… Now I just released my first Fashion Monkeys clothing collection for the woman in a hurry but always stylish….and I promise- you don’t want to take off them 😂😂😂 Because Fashion Monkeys made with Love in Europe ❤️

What's one piece of feedback from a happy customer or client that you won't forget?

There are customers who are returning…. I love what I do, so my clients and customers love to come back

What has been your biggest struggle so far and how do you deal with it?

A lot of competition in my business, so it’s normal to get a response No more often than Yes…. Yes of course I also cry sometimes…,but at the same time I’m learning strength and perseverance.

Where do you see your company in the future?

My plans are always big….but I don’t focus only on the future…..I am so excited about what is today….so I try to enjoy every minute now ❤️

What is the biggest misconception about your industry?

A lot of people think that fashion and style is only for models….. No - this is not true, Fashion and style - is the way to say who you are without having to speak.

Any shoutouts you want to make?

I believe that Beauty can change the world. And of course I wish everyone to develop their souls inside ❤️

If someone wants to start a business, what advice would help them?

Always go towards your dreams, don’t be afraid, don’t listen to others, listen to your heart…. And of course always work hard. Everything will come your way, but it’s better to try than to regret that you didn’t do anything.

What was your favorite music artist and athlete growing up?

My favorite music artist: I’m a fan of Harry Styles 😂Athlete- Domantas Sabonis is a Lithuanian American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings.
