Marc Graue
Believe in yourself and YOUR vision. No one else will have the drive and determination that you'll have!

So nice to meet you! First off, what’s your name? Tell our readers a bit about yourself: where you’re from originally and where you live now.
Marc Graue, originally born in Hollywood, CA, and my voice over studios have become a Burbank landmark.
Tell us a little bit more about what your company does and how it started. How does it help your customers?
Marc Graue Voice Over Studios has been a cornerstone of the Hollywood voice over industry since 1983, when Marc Graue established his recording facilities in Burbank, California. Over more than four decades, the studio has earned an international reputation for excellence in animation, video game voice over, ADR, commercials, audiobooks, and demo production, becoming a trusted destination for major entertainment companies, game developers, advertising agencies, and voice actors from around the world. The studio has worked with productions and talent connected to companies including Disney, Warner Bros., Netflix, Sony, Electronic Arts (EA), Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, Ubisoft, Riot Games, Amazon, and countless independent film and television productions, while also welcoming acclaimed performers such as Robin Williams, Bryan Cranston, Morgan Freeman, Ray Romano, Julie Andrews, Jennifer Coolidge, Patrick Warburton, George Lopez, Martin Short, James Woods, and many others. Today, Marc Graue Voice Over Studios remains one of Burbank's most respected recording facilities, combining state-of-the-art technology with decades of Hollywood experience in performance direction, casting, recording, and post-production.
If someone wants to start a business, what advice will help them?
Believe in yourself and YOUR vision. No one else will have the drive and determination that you'll have!
What's one piece of feedback from a happy customer or client that you won't forget?
Being coached by Marc is incredibly fun, enlightening and importantly, affordable. Even after 15 years in the acting and voiceover industry I have learned a great deal from my animation and video game voice over sessions with this legend, so much so, that within a few days of finishing I went straight out and booked a main part in a new game. That's no coincidence. Thanks Marc, I have never spent better money than my voice over coaching sessions with you."
Where do you see your company in the future?
Marc Graue Voice Over & Post is uniquely positioned to remain one of Hollywood's premier destinations for voice over recording, coaching, demo production, and post-production. Built on a foundation established in 1983, the studio has earned a worldwide reputation for excellence in animation, video games, ADR, commercials, and voice over demos. As the industry continues to evolve with AI, remote recording, and global casting, Marc Graue Voice Over & Post is expanding beyond a traditional recording studio into a worldwide educational and creative brand. Through online coaching, professional demo production, podcasts, blogs, social media, and industry-leading voice over resources, the company is becoming a trusted destination for voice actors at every stage of their careers. The future includes reaching an even broader international audience while continuing to provide the personal mentorship, professional recording environment, and Hollywood expertise that have made Marc Graue a respected name in voice over for more than four decades.
What is the biggest misconception about your industry?
That Voice Over is easy and you just sit in a room and talk... which is partially true but it IS a business so you need to approach it as a business.
What has been one of your biggest struggles building your business and how did you deal with it?
When I first moved the studios to Burbank from Hollywood I had a very large client who was responsible for a big chunk of my income and within a week of moving into the much larger facilities in Burbank they told me they had built their own studios so you have to think on your feet and be ready to pivot. I think the next big thing is AI and you can either hate it and bemoan how terrible it is or figure out a way to make it work for you and your business!
Who was your favorite music artist and athlete growing up?
Growing up I was a huge LA Rams, Lakers and Dodgers fan. I've always liked pretty much all types of music and grew up in a household where my dad was a TV news anchor, my mom was a singer and my brother was a professional musician ( Do Ho's musical director for years) ao musi and sound was alwayd part of growing up!
Any shoutouts you want to make?
Definitely a shout out to my buddy Joe Mantegna and the Society Of Voice Arts for giving me the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2021 and to Daws Butler and Stan Freberg being responsible for me going into voice over!
