Hey! So nice to speak with you! Can you tell our readers a little bit more about yourself? Where are you originally from and where do you live now?
Tara "Chuck" DeWeese currently residing overseas and have strong Texas roots.
Tell us one thing you love about where you live now?
Living in Europe is such a cultural cart wheel of whimsy and wonder. My partner and I really enjoy being able to take day trips and cheap travel to other countries.
Tell us a little bit more about what your company does and how it started? How does it help your customers?
VWEAR LOVE, LLC fills a large need for anyone who leaks and needs to be protected, feel confident, and be able to carry on throughout their busy day. Creating a sexy, secure, and feel-good product that has natural materials was the founder Desiree Fox's dream, and having worked with her at another company she helped found, I find her inspiring to work with. Our customers love the feel of our proprietary fabric, and are struck with amazement of how protected they feel from small to high-volume leaks. And they feel snatched, comfortable, and cool while wearing VWEAR.
If someone wants to start a business, what's advice that will help them?
Let both the practical and the passion marry.
What was one feedback from a happy customer/client that you won't forget about?
How validating it was from a Salon Owner who is also a Fitness Coach. She's on her feet hours on end with few breaks during her day, and then all the squatting she does. She fell in love with our cooling and collagen infused fabric and also was amazed at how absorbent our leggings were, while also staying "dry" where she needed to.
Where do you see your company in the future?
The company's future is foreseen as having a faithful customer base that raves to their friends and grows that base. We see becoming international and also extending the altruistic arm of the company to help period-impoverished women globally.
What is the biggest misconception about your industry?
That we're all the same. Our product is unique and superior to any currently on the market. Our design in a first and heavily tested, as well as a joy to wear. Not all our competitors can claim the same.
What has been one of your biggest struggle building your business and how did you deal with it?
A start-up, especially from concept to design, to production, to sales is a slow, joyful battle. We manage by having the utmost passion and faith in the product and the market demand.
What was your favorite music artist and athlete growing up?
Pearl Jam and Anja Anderson (Handball - Olympic Gold Medal Winner).
Any shoutouts you want to make?
Shout out to all the women who keep on keepin' on despite all the hard days.
