At the end of the day, the industry is much more experience-driven and relationship-focused than many people realize.

What has been one of your biggest struggles building your business and how did you deal with it?

One of the biggest challenges we faced was navigating the business during the COVID period. Before that, a large part of our business was connected to local, in-person retail and traditional customer interactions. Like many businesses, we suddenly had to adapt very quickly to changing customer behavior, delivery demands, and operational uncertainty.

During that time, we focused heavily on improving our online experience, expanding delivery capabilities, and making the ordering process as smooth and reliable as possible. Customers were looking for safe and convenient ways to stay connected with family, friends, and clients through gifting, and we realized how important our service could be during difficult moments.

The experience taught us the importance of adaptability, customer communication, and staying focused under pressure. While it was definitely a challenging period, it also pushed us to grow, innovate, and build a stronger foundation for the future.
