So nice to meet you! First off, what’s your name? Tell our readers a bit about yourself—where you’re from originally and where you live now.

Robert Heard. I’m a film student at First Institute of Sound & Production. I’m from St. Louis, Missouri, and I still live here in STL.

Tell us one thing you love about where you live now.

I love that STL gives you a big-city and small-town feeling at the same time. Everyone is connected in some way.

Tell us a little more about what your company does and how it started. How does it help your customers?

My company is a small publishing company in development that supports entrepreneurs and covers popular topics.

If someone wants to start a business, what advice would you give them?

Don’t wait until tomorrow to start what you can do today.

What is one piece of feedback from a happy customer or client that you won't forget?

I drew a tattoo design for a client years ago, and she told me that it looked better than any she had seen. I took pride in that.

Where do you see your company in the future?

I see my company being one of the top publishing firms in STL.

What is the biggest misconception about your industry?

That it’s easy to obtain success without putting in the hard work.

What has been one of your biggest struggles building your business, and how did you deal with it?

Elements in my personal life, such as school and relationships, sometimes make it hard to focus. But I remember what I’m chasing and how I can’t give up.

What was your favorite music artist and athlete growing up?

My favorite artist is Kevin Gates. My favorite athlete growing up was Mike Tyson.

Where can our readers learn more about you and your company?
