So nice to meet you! First off, what’s your name? Tell our readers a bit about yourself—where you’re from originally and where you live now.

It's an honor to meet you as well. Well, my name is Timothy J. Chambers Jr., but I go by Coach. I'm from a little bit of everywhere, but if I had a place to call home, it would be East St. Louis, Illinois. I am currently in San Antonio, Texas.

Tell us one thing you love about where you live now.

One thing I love about where I live now, hmmm, I love the connections I have made in the fitness industry here, and the support I have in my faith as well.

Tell us a little more about what your company does and how it started. How does it help your customers?

Still Fit 2 Serve began as a vision for a clothing brand, but God revealed it was meant to be much more. What started as apparel evolved into personal training and group fitness, and ultimately into a mission-driven movement.

At Still Fit 2 Serve, LLC, our mission is to empower people to become the best version of themselves, regardless of their circumstances. Too many people have been told what they can't do. We're here to help them discover what they can do and to prove that their limitations do not define their potential.

If someone wants to start a business, what advice would you give them?

Just start. Take what you have and trust God with all of it. Stay in constant communication with Him daily. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it, because the minute you start to believe them, you will no longer believe in you.

What is one piece of feedback from a happy customer or client that you won't forget?

A client from Chicago once shared something I'll never forget: "You gave me the blueprint, but I realized I had to do the work." They appreciated the consistency of the training, embraced the process, and ultimately achieved results they never thought possible. Their success became proof that when opportunity meets effort, transformation happens.

Where do you see your company in the future?

I see Still Fit 2 Serve™ becoming a Youth Development Center where teens and young adults discover who they were created to be. A place where limitations are replaced with purpose, doubt is replaced with confidence, and obstacles become opportunities for growth.

Through faith, fitness, mentorship, and community, young people will walk through our doors one way and leave forever changed. My vision is to create an environment where they learn that their circumstances do not define their future, and where they are empowered to become everything they once believed they couldn't be.

This is more than a fitness facility. It's a place of transformation, hope, and purpose, where the next generation is equipped to serve, lead, and thrive.

What is the biggest misconception about your industry?

The biggest misconception is that Still Fit 2 Serve belongs to a single industry. While fitness and apparel may be considered crowded markets, our mission extends far beyond either one. At its core, this is not about selling products or services. It's about advancing God's Kingdom.

Many people view faith-based businesses with skepticism and assume that faith is simply a marketing strategy. For us, it is the foundation of everything we do. We believe that every opportunity, every relationship, and every transformation begins and ends with God.

Our goal is not just to help people become stronger physically. It is to help them discover purpose, build confidence, and realize the potential God has placed within them. We strive to be a living testimony of God's grace and faithfulness, showing through our actions what He has done in our lives and inspiring others to believe in what He can do in theirs.

At the end of the day, success is not measured solely by revenue, followers, or recognition. Success is measured by lives impacted, hope restored, and people empowered to become who God created them to be.

What has been one of your biggest struggles building your business, and how did you deal with it?

One of the biggest struggles I've faced in building this business has been learning the difference between when to move and when to wait. As entrepreneurs, it's easy to believe that success is always tied to the next opportunity, the next idea, or the next big move. But I've learned that growth often comes from being faithful with what's already in your hands.

For me, the journey has been about trusting the gifts God has given me, developing them, and using them to serve others rather than constantly searching for something new. There have been moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and waiting, but those moments taught me patience, perseverance, and faith.

I've come to understand that breakthroughs rarely happen on our timetable. They happen when preparation meets God's timing. So instead of focusing on how far I still have to go, I've learned to trust the process, remain consistent, and keep serving with excellence. Every day, I take another step forward, believing that if I stay faithful to the mission, God will handle the outcome.

Who was your favorite music artist and athlete growing up?

My favorite music artist was DMX. He didn't have it all figured out, so he gave it all to God. My favorite athlete, even to this day, is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. With his last seven bucks, he made it happen.

Any shoutouts you want to make?

I just want to thank God for carrying me this far, you all for the opportunity to be interviewed, The Blend Nutrition and Gym for their support, and those who truly support me and are by my side. You know exactly who you are.
